Actress Sylvia Kristel, the Dutch star of the hit 1970s erotic âEmmanuelleâ movies, has died of cancer at age 60. Her agent, Features Creative Management, said in a statement Thursday that Kristel died in her sleep Wednesday night. Kristel, a model who turned to acting in the 1970s, had been fighting cancer for several years. Her breakthrough came in âEmmanuelle,â a 1974 erotic tale directed by Frenchman Just Jaeckin, about the sexual adventures of a man and his beautiful young wife in Thailand.
Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green are parents of a new baby boy -- actually, a not-so-new baby boy. Noah Shannon Green was born on Sept. 27, Fox announced Wednesday on Facebook after âa few peaceful weeks at home.â The baby âis healthy, happy, and perfect,â she wrote.

The movie star was on the ABC morning show Friday promoting his new film, âCloud Atlas,â when interviewer Elizabeth Vargas asked Hanks to say something in an accent he used for one of the many characters he portrays in the picture.
