Kim Kardashian, Kanye West reportedly flipping Bel-Air mansion

Share

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West might be looking to unload the mansion they’ve been painstakingly renovating.

The “Keeping Up With the Kardashianas” star and the rapper bought a 10,000-square-foot Bel-Air mansion in 2013 for $11 million with the intention of living there. In typical Kimye fashion, however, they needed to customize it to their particularly lavish tastes.

Now the newlyweds, who’ve been living in Calabasas with Kardashian’s mom, Kris Jenner, since welcoming daughter North West in June 2013, reportedly want to sell Casa Kimye for a profit instead — despite all the time, money and effort put into gutting the joint and rebuilding it bigger and better than before.

TMZ reported that the couple would now be getting into the house-flipping market, but sources shut down that notion to E! News, whose network airs the Kardashian clan’s myriad exploits.

“They are such perfectionists that staying up-to-date with the latest appliances and home systems, etc., has been exhausting for them,” a source told E! “They want to sell very soon, but they might just finish the house enough to get it on the market without trying to make it their perfect home.”

The source added that North’s parents “have no interest in becoming professional ‘flippers’ but rather have found the entire process exhausting.”

Another source said the process has taken too long and the couple are eager to finally get into their own place.

In February, the reality star, 33, explained why she decided to move in with her mom rather than rent a new place upon welcoming her daughter. (West has been in and out of that house while touring.)

“I truly didn’t think our house would take this long,” she told fans via Mobio INsider. “But now I love living here. It has everything I could ever need, and I love spending all of this time with my mom and sisters. I will be definitely ready to go when our house is finally done but going to miss it too. Nothing better than the whole family seeing our daughter daily!”
