Los Angeles Times Staff Writers Some have mused that with their simple dialogue and faraway story lines, the " Star Wars" films would always have made great animated features. With the release of "Star Wars: Clone Wars," we'll get to see whether that claim is true. Can the personality of Harrison Ford's Han Solo be replicated? Will the freedom of animation outshine the digitized effects of the prequels? Even with today's ever-advancing technology, sometimes it's best to leave well enough alone. We take a look at some adaptations and try to see if the toon-world was the way to go. |
