Tony Roberts had a minor seizure during the Sunday matinee of “The Royal Family,” but is looking forward to returning to the Broadway revival of the 1927 comedy.

Roberts’ daughter Nicole said Tuesday that the actor was “feeling great” and was now taking medication.

Roberts, 69, who starred in such Woody Allen films as “Annie Hall,” “Play It Again, Sam” and “Stardust Memories,” became ill during the preview performance and had to be taken to a hospital. The preview was canceled, but performances resumed that night with understudy Anthony Newfield taking over Roberts’ role in the Manhattan Theatre Club production.

The show is scheduled to open Thursday, but it isn’t clear when Roberts will return to the production.
