Anna, Audrina and LeBron: The unlikely faces of fall films
Poet Maya Angelou has dipped her toe into the acting world both in theater and on the big screen, most recently making an appearance in “Madea’s Family Reunion.” This time around, Angelou is one of many famous faces appearing as themselves in a documentary about African-American hair, the Chris Rock-directed “Good Hair.”
Filmgoers may not immediately recognize the Cleveland Cavaliers small forward, but that’s only because “More Than a Game” follows LeBron James’ high school years. The documentary specifically revolves around James and four of his friends / teammates as they vie for high school championship titles and as James solidifies his status as a soon-to-be star of the NBA.
