Bolshoi Ballet's "Don Quixote"
Alexey Loparevich portrays the "Don Quixote" title character as Russia's Bolshoi Ballet opens its visiting production of "Don Quixote" Feb. 24 at the Orange County Performing Arts Center. A signature Bolshoi production, "Don Quixote" is based on Cervantes' novel and has been shaped (and reshaped) since 1869 by Marius Petipa, Alexandr Gorsky, Alexei Fadeyechev and at least three more credited choreographers.
