Jon Voight Jon Voight, a 1970s superstar, attempted to reach out to estranged daughter Angelina Jolie via an “Access Hollywood” interview in 2002. Voight pleaded for Angie to let him help her get through her “serious emotional problems." Jolie cut off communication from him, and even had a manager block his attempts to talk to her at a Hollywood party. But when Shiloh (Jolie's daughter with Brad Pitt) was born, Voight went on MSNBC to publicly congratulate the happy couple. A few months later, he forgot his new granddaughter’s name during a red carpet interview and referred to her as “Shakira.” |
