In "Bridesmaids," Kristen Wiig stars as Annie, a down-on-her-luck maid-of-honor forced to keep up with the party-planning skills of her best friend Lillian's (Maya Rudolph) new pal Helen (Rose Byrne). As the women try to one-up each other, the claws come out and the wedding starts heading straight for disaster. But it isn't as if Annie and Helen were starting a new tradition. Sabotaged weddings are a classic plot device. Here's how romantic comedy heroines (and a few heroes) ruined weddings.
