Update: Arizona Cardinal Monty Beisel has leased out his Encino contemporary for $8,750 a month. It also had been listed for sale at $2,295,000.

The NFL linebacker completely remodeled the 1962 home. A long, low, glass-fronted fireplace adds drama to the living room, and an oversized island provides prep, cooking and seating space for four in the open kitchen. There are four bedrooms and 2 1/2 bathrooms in 3,797 square feet of living space in two stories. Outside, a pool is surrounded by seating areas, including an outdoor living room.

Beisel, 32, played in Super Bowl XLIII with the Cardinals in 2008 and has played for the Kansas City Chiefs and the New England Patriots.
