Former KCRW music director
has sold his Venice home for $2.9 million.

Schnabel, 64, helps direct the radio station's World Festival series and hosts his own show. He was music director from 1979 to '90 at KCRW, where he started and was a host of the "Morning Becomes Eclectic" program.
