Party like a junker: Vintage market returns to town
Treasure seekers, start your engines.
The Junk in the Trunk Vintage Market is returning to the Pomona Fairplex for its third year this weekend, bringing with it all things chippy, peely and creatively reimagined.
The cleverly curated show features food trucks, live music and, most importantly, really cool stuff. This is not a swap meet; it’s a showcase of 105 well-merchandised vendors who have been screened by event organizers Lindsey Holt and Coley Arnold as to what they will be selling. Think: vintage collectibles, found objects, repurposed junk, and old stuff that oozes character and authenticity.
The not-too-big, not-too-small indoor event allows beginning junkers to get their feet wet, while providing a satisfying assortment of one-of-a-kind, quality objects for veterans of vintage shopping.
To make the most of your experience bring a measuring tape, tote bag or cart for purchases, fabric/paint swatches that match your space, comfortable shoes, cash (an assortment of small bills) and a sense of adventure.

Cost: Admission, $8-$25. $12 for parking each day. A portion of ticket sales benefit the Mission One Africa Project.
