Dolly Parton: In the Oct. 3 Calendar section, a review of Dolly Parton’s performance at the Hollywood Bowl said it was a modest production with no video screens. The main screens flanking the stage were not used, but remote screens farther back in the Bowl were employed.

Ryder Cup: In the Oct. 3 Sports section, an article about the final day of the Ryder Cup tournament said European Rory McIlroy birdied the 18th hole only to have American Patrick Reed knock in a birdie on top of his to win their singles match. In fact, Reed putted first and made his birdie to win their match, eliminating the need for McIlroy to putt.
