Negotiators from Iran, the U.S. and five other world powers reached an agreement on a landmark deal to curb Iran’s nuclear program in the summer of 2015.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, speaking in Jerusalem, called the agreement between Iran and six world powers a “historic mistake,” and said that Israel was not bound by the deal and would continue to do whatever was necessary to defend itself.
