Oberammergau, Germany

The choir performs during the final dress rehearsal in Oberammergau, Germany. The Oberammergau passion play, first staged in 1634 to ward off a plague epidemic, has been staged every 10 years since, with few interruptions. Some 2,500 villagers act, build, produce, or play music in the play, which will run from May 15th to October 3rd 2010.
