Photos: Google announces new products, acquisitions

Self-driving car prototypes will have manual controls to allow humans to override the autonomous driving systems. But Google plans to build the bulk of the cars as fully autonomous — no steering wheel, gas pedal or brake pedal.

Google acquires Skybox Imaging
