10 horses, 2 goats found dead after desert barn fire
Los Angeles County fire officials say 10 horses and two goats have been found dead after a barn fire in the desert community of Lake Los Angeles.
Fire Inspector Joey Marron said crews were called to the fire on Mossdale Avenue about 12:45 p.m. Wednesday.
The bodies of the animals were found after firefighters knocked down the blaze, which took less than 15 minutes.
Marron said two people with smoke inhalation were taken to a hospital. Information about their condition was not available, and there was no immediate word on what caused the fire.
