Great Britain’s Brownlee brothers nabbed medals in the men’s triathlon, with elder brother Alistair earning gold and younger brother Jonathan taking the bronze. Javier Gomez of Spain won the silver medal. The Brownlee brothers’ medals were the first for Great Britain in the Olympic triathlon.
