With new Coach Sean McVay in the process of hiring a staff, another former Rams assistant has found NFL employment elsewhere.

The Buffalo Bills announced Tuesday that Rob Boras would join the Bills as tight ends coach.

Boras, the Rams’ offensive coordinator last season, is the second former Rams assistant hired by new Bills Coach Sean McDermott, following defensive line coach Mike Waufle.

Boras, 46, coached tight ends for the Chicago Bears, Jacksonville Jaguars and the Rams before former coach Jeff Fisher promoted him to interim offensive coordinator for the final four games of the 2015 season. Boras was named full-time offensive coordinator before last season. The Rams finished 4-12 and had the NFL’s worst offense for the second year in row.

Former Rams defensive coordinator Gregg Williams was hired by the Cleveland Browns.

Dennard Wilson, who coached Rams defensive backs, reportedly will join the New York Jets’ staff.
