Parque del Este

Caracas, Venezuela Parque del Este, designed in 1962 by Brazilian landscape architect Roberto Burle Marx, has 190 acres of lush plant life, benches and fountains and has become an important modernist example of harmony between urban design and nature. The park has fallen into disrepair in the last 30 years.
