'Monsieur Verdoux'

When they say that Chaplin was a lady killer, they didn't necessarily mean it this way. In this 1947 comedy- drama, our leading man (who also directed wrote this film based on a script from Orson Welles about French murderer Henri Désiré Landru) courts and kills rich women in order to support his family.
