Orange County hotel: In the Dec. 27 Travel section, an article about destinations for 2016 said that the St. Regis Monarch Beach had completed a major renovation. The hotel is open and guest rooms have been upgraded, but many public areas are still closed for renovation, with completion expected in the spring.

Stein Eriksen obituary: In the Dec. 29 California section, a photo caption with the obituary of champion skier Stein Eriksen said that Deer Valley Resort is in Colorado. It is in Park City, Utah.
