Vans turns 50: In the Image section elsewhere in this edition, an article about the 50th anniversary of the footwear maker Vans misspelled the first name of Vans’ senior director of events and promotions, Kristy Van Doren-Batson, as Christy in some instances. The article also referred to a lace-up 50th anniversary employees-only shoe as a slip-on. The errors were discovered after the section was printed.

Film preservation: In the March 6 Section A, an article about a facility being built for UCLA’s film archive was accompanied by a photo of an archivist looking at a strip of film identified as being from the 2006 movie “Grandma’s Boy.” The film was the original 1922 movie “Grandma’s Boy.”
