Berkeley dean: In the March 13 California section, an article about a new sexual harassment review process at the University of California said that UC Berkeley law school Dean Sujit Choudhry was penalized for sexual harassment with a 10% reduction in his salary of $173,000. The pay cut was applied to a salary of $415,000, reducing it to $373,500. In addition, the article said that Provost Claude Steele placed him on an indefinite leave of absence; Choudhry initiated the leave of absence before resigning as dean last week. His faculty salary will be $284,200.

Broken sidewalks: In the March 15 California section, a production error in an article about a plan to repair broken sidewalks resulted in Los Angeles City Councilman Joe Buscaino being misidentified as Joe Biscayne and City Administrative Officer Miguel Santana as Niguel Santana.
