Airline safety: In the Jan. 3 Business section, an article about airline safety said that 2017 was the eighth year in a row in which the U.S. had no fatalities in crashes of commercial jets. It was the fourth year in a row in which no crashes by commercial jets on U.S. soil resulted in any deaths, and the eighth year in a row in which no crashes by U.S. airlines resulted in any passenger deaths.
