Nursing young cancer patients one song at a time

When Barbara Britt started nursing in the early 1970s, her patients typically died. Such was the course of childhood leukemia and cancer. Forty years later, outcomes have changed, and as a member of the brain tumor team at Children's Hospital Los Angeles, Britt has helped thousands of families and their children come to understand the meaning of both life and death.
