Earthquake with preliminary 3.7 magnitude strikes Big Bear

A shallow magnitude 3.7 earthquake was reported Sunday evening, 4 miles from Big Bear City, Calif., according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The temblor occured at 9:55 p.m. Pacific time.

The depth was recorded at 4.3 miles.
