Serial killer Joseph Naso should get death penalty, jury finds
A Northern California jury on Tuesday recommended the death penalty for a man convicted in the slayings of four women.
A Marin County judge will decide soon whether Joseph Naso, 79, should go the death row, according to the Associated Press.

The jury’s action comes two years after Naso was charged in the deaths of four women from 1977 to 1994 in Northern California.
The victims were Carmen Colon, Pamela Parsons, Roxene Roggasch and Tracy Tafoya. Officials said they had little in common except the alliteration of their names.
Evidence found in 2010 by Nevada investigators at Naso’s home in Reno and forensics tied him to the slayings, authorities said. Cold-case detectives then began looking at him as a suspect.
