Bob Welch

Pitcher Bob Welch, a rookie with the L.A. Dodgers in 1978, struck out home-run king Reggie Jackson in Game 2 of the World Series, an iconic moment in Dodger history. He went on to pitch 17 seasons, winning the Cy Young award in 1990.
