The venture first opened in 1949 as Wyoming's first drive-in, started on a former hayfield. Today business plays out like a Saturday night thriller, the future in doubt as owner Pokey Heny battles drive-ins' dwindling popularity and studios' drive to increase profits. But she knows she's helping to preserve a vital ritual in a ranching town of 6,000 residents.
