Texas Republican Ted Cruz took control of the Senate floor for more than 21 hours, starting Tuesday. It wasn't technically a filibuster, but it was one of the longest continuous speeches in the history of the Senate. Here are some of the most long-winded and famous filibusters of U.S. history -- including the record-holder.
