Adult orphans: An article in Monday's Health section that was part of a package on how people handle their parents' deaths focused on Larry Graber, a Santa Monica psychotherapist whose parents died within six months of each other in 2000. Although the article said Graber is an openly gay man, Graber is heterosexual. The reporter misunderstood the name of his partner and misinterpreted references in the conversation, and incorrectly assumed Graber to be gay.
'Surfwise': An item in the Editors' Picks and the Movies listings in Thursday's The Guide and in Sunday Calendar's Movies listings said the documentary "Surfwise" would open today. It opens in Los Angeles on May 23.
Lakers: In Thursday's Sports section, a photograph showing the Lakers' Derek Fisher shooting a three-point shot identified the player behind Fisher as Vladimir Radmanovic. The player behind Fisher was Sasha Vujacic. And Mark Heisler, in his commentary, said the Lakers were 22-5 with Pau Gasol during the regular season and are now 27-5 with him. The Lakers are now 28-5 with Gasol.
Lounge 1020: In Thursday's The Guide, a nightclub review on Lounge 1020 in Arcadia called the $25 charge on weekends a cover charge. It's a per-table drink minimum.
Malibu vineyards: An article in Tuesday's Food section about Malibu vineyards said Jim Palmer's vineyard is in Trancas Canyon. It is in Decker Canyon.
Summer travel: Tuesday's correction of Morgan Stanley financial advisor Charmin Wu's name should have corrected his last name as well, which appeared as Woo in Saturday's Business article about Americans' summer travel plans.
McKinsey obituary: The obituary of daytime television actress Beverlee McKinsey in Wednesday's California section said she died at Olympic Medical Center in Los Angeles. It is Olympia Medical Center.
