Sarah Palin: In some editions of Sunday’s Section A, an article about Sarah Palin’s speech to the National Tea Party Convention quoted her as saying, “How’s that hopey, changing stuff working out for you?” She said, “How’s that hopey, changey stuff working out for you?”

Toyota recall: An article in the LATExtra section Tuesday about Toyota’s recall of its 2010 Prius and Lexus hybrids worldwide because of brake problems omitted the first name of Akio Toyoda, the company’s president and grandson of the founder.

Vancouver, Canada: A Dec. 13 article in the Travel section about Vancouver and the Winter Olympics incorrectly reported that Shannon Falls, about 35 miles north of Vancouver, is the fifth-highest waterfall in the world. Various geographic references differ in how they rank the world’s waterfalls, but none places Shannon Falls, at approximately 1,100 feet, that high. The same article said that the Bacchus Restaurant & Lounge at the Wedgewood Hotel & Spa was in the Yaletown neighborhood on the southeastern edge of downtown. The Wedgewood is in downtown Vancouver, not in Yaletown.
