Solar eclipse 2012: Maps

Locations within the northern and southern limit of the “annular zone” will see the moon appear to move over the sun’s center, blocking all light except for the sun’s outer edge, leaving the appearance of a “ring of fire.” Those beyond the annular zone will see a partial solar eclipse, and the moon will block all but a skinny C-shaped crescent of the sun.
