My grandfather took me and my brother frequently in the late fifties. If the stick in your pudding cup had a red tip you got to pick a prize from the treasure chest. I always felt like a winner because I didn't realize until later that every stick had a red tip.
I love this! Los Angeles has erased so much of it's history over the years. We're fortunate to have some of it back.
Anthony Albo, my dad took me there when I was a kid too! he worked there ca late 40s.
