Demonstrators across Latin America marched in protest of Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez, accusing him of authoritarianism and international meddling.
Protests drew more than 5,000 people in Bogota, Colombia, and thousands more in Venezuela and Honduras.
Turnout was far from massive in many cities. A dozen people rallied in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Protests also were held in Argentina, Ecuador, Chile, Panama and Bolivia.
