Open for Business workshop will be June 16

Laguna Beach will host its next Open for Business workshop on June 16.

The free workshop will allow current and potential Laguna Beach business owners to ask questions of planning commissioners and city staff in an informal setting.

“Many prospective business people want to discuss their issues before they initiate formal applications with the city,” Planning Commissioner Anne Johnson, who coordinates the workshops, said in a news release. “Just discussing their concerns and issues informally seems to help.”

In addition to Johnson, workshop participants will include Planning Commissioner Roger McErlane, Laguna Beach Chamber of Commerce representatives and assistant city planner Anthony Viera.

The session will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Laguna Beach Community & Susi Q Center, at 380 Third St.
