Pet of the Week: Nolan

Share

Although his name means noble in Gaelic and he was recently recognized by the Huntington Beach City Council as a worthy feline ambassador, Nolan has no delusions of grandeur.

Instead, wherever he goes his playful, curious and affectionate nature is apparent. Nolan arrived last month at the Orange County Humane Society as a stray, suffering from an upper respiratory infection. Following treatment, he is now healthy and ready to find a home.

Nolan is thought to be 9 months old and weighs just under 8 pounds. His black and white coat is soft for petting, and he enjoys being around people as well as other cats. The shelter currently houses about 40 cats and kittens, all seeking adoption.

Nolan’s fees, which include neutering, will be reduced 25% all week with the mention of this announcement. For more information, call (714) 536-8480 or visit ochumanesociety.com. Donations of wet cat food and toys continue to be welcomed by the shelter’s kitty contingent.
