The bark was back in Huntington Beach on Saturday as a cluster of corgis — those short-legged herding dogs from Wales — took to the sand for So Cal Corgi Beach Day.

So Cal Corgi Nation presents the twice-yearly free get-together at Huntington Dog Beach, where on Saturday there were corgi costume and limbo contests, a kissing booth and selfies at the Instagram meet-and-greet area.

A portion of proceeds from sales of So Cal Corgi Beach Day merchandise will benefit Queen’s Best Stumpy Dog Rescue.
