PREDICTION

Pitching normally beats hitting in the postseason, but the Angels have a few things going for them. This is a great Angels lineup against merely a good rotation (though the Royals’ defense has been outstanding), and Jered Weaver can match all comers for two games of the series.

Both teams will have to score early against strong bullpens which that are essentially evenly matched.

The Angels should have enough firepower to endure. Angels in four.
