Black Caviar wins her 22nd consecutive race

Australia’s Black Caviar stayed unbeaten on Saturday, winnning her 22nd consecutive race by taking the Diamond Jubilee Stakes at Royal Ascot by a narrow margin over the French mare Moonlight Cloud.

The 5-year-old mare is a sprint sensation and racing wonder from Down Under. More than 6,000 Australians reportedly made the trip to England.

Black Caviar has won 12 Group I victories. She has become the most famous Australian racehorse since Phar Lap.
