U.S. Open: Watch Luke Donald hit woman in head with golf ball
It was a tough day Sunday for Luke Donald at the U.S. Open, but an even tougher one for a woman who got in the way of Donald’s drive on the third hole.
Donald’s tee shot sailed far to the left and struck a volunteer who was actually following the group ahead of Donald’s. The woman stayed on the ground for a few minutes before she was helped up.
Donald gave the woman a signed glove, and probably a headache.
Donald shot a five-over 75 on Sunday and finished tied for eighth.
