The dangers of nuclear dumps

To the editor: About 60  nuclear power plants with 100 nuclear reactors are operating in the U.S. As time — and global warming and our more-dramatic weather — combine to reduce grid capacity, we must broaden our menu of power sources, looking harder at ever-more cost-effective wind, water and sun.
