Given that President Bush managed to avoid service in Vietnam, it is ironic indeed that Michael Ramirez (editorial cartoon, Feb. 22) would choose to depict W as a front-line officer, caught in harm’s way, abandoned and betrayed by treacherous, ungrateful allies.
