Short Tacks: Sailing hall of frame announces 2014 class

Hall of Fame The National Sailing Hall of Fame and Museum, based in downtown Annapolis, has announced its 2014 induction class. Slated for enshrinement next month will be yachtsman, historian and senior statesman of the sport Harry Anderson (Mystic, Conn.); mathematician and navigator Nathaniel Bowditch (Salem, Mass.); boat builder and U.S. Olympic Sailing team boatwright Carl Eichenlaub (San Diego); brothers Olaf and Peter Harken (Pewaukee, Wisc.), respectively, boat builder and sailing hardware designer; prolific writer L.
