Florida House and Senate divided over next move in map flap

The Florida House and Senate are at odds over what should happen next in the battle over the state's 27 congressional districts. The Republican-controlled Legislature ended a special session last week without coming up with a new map. The state Supreme Court gave lawmakers 100 days to draw a map after finding the current districts violated voter-approved standards. But the House and Senate sharply differed on changes in the central Florida and Tampa Bay region. Circuit Judge Terry Lewis will hold a hearing Tuesday to discuss what should happen next.
