They were tired. Trouble was, until the end, they played like it. They played 21 innings over more than eight hours Thursday in Minnesota, boarded a plane and flew to Florida in time to see the sun rise, so it was kind of understandable. Just not pretty baseball to watch, a mostly lifeless group of Dodgers falling to Miami, 6-3, on Friday at Marlins Park. There were Dodgers standing around not ready to receive relays, Dodgers trying to steal third with no outs and down by four, Dodgers managing only three hits through seven innings and, probably, Dodgers taking naps in the bullpen.
