Angels name Scott Radinsky as their new bullpen coach

The Angels rounded out their on-field staff by hiring Scott Radinsky, a former Simi Valley High standout and major league pitcher, as their bullpen coach on Wednesday.

Radinsky, 47, spent the last three seasons as a minor-league pitching coach in the Dodgers organization, helping triple-A Oklahoma City to a Pacific Coast League-leading 86 wins in 2015. He spent 2014 at double-A Chattanooga and 2013 at rookie-league Ogden, Utah.

The former reliever, who was a high school teammate of former pitcher Jeff Weaver, pitched 11 seasons (1990-93, 1995-2001) in the big leagues with the Chicago White Sox, Dodgers, St. Louis Cardinals and Cleveland Indians, compiling a 42-25 record,...
