Ramirez, who has 29 runs batted in over his last 34 games, extended his hitting streak to eight games with a first-inning double. Dee Gordon reached base three times and scored two runs. He also drove in a run and stole his major league-leading 39th base. ON THE MOUND: Josh Beckett won for the second time in his last three starts, limiting the Padres to four hits and two walks over seven scoreless innings.
