A semblance of order was restored at Wimbledon on Thursday, a contrast to Wednesday’s wild upsets and withdrawals. No. 1 seed Serena Williams eased past Caroline Garcia of France, 6-3, 6-2, in 67 minutes in her second-round match  Williams’ 33rd consecutive match victory.
