Inside Nashville's Ryman Auditorium, country music's most hallowed building

The Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, built to house preachers in the 1890s, grew into a beloved home for country musicians for much of the 20th century. Roy Acuff, Patsy Cline, Elvis Presley, Dolly Parton, three generations of guys named Hank Williams, Taylor Swift and Garth Brooks have played here, among many others. It continues as a concert venue today, its pews and colored windows a reminder of how it's changed over time.
